You will provide assistance to the Chair in Older People's Mental Health Nursing in leading a programme of research aligned to this area. You will be expected to engage in supervised activities that will build research capacity and capability for older people's mental health nursing. You will be expected to actively engage in research projects, provide project advice and guidance to Trust staff, develop researchers and contribute to education sessions to increase knowledge of evidence based practice. Whilst based primarily at the Foundation Trust, you will be expected to undertake some activities which contribute to the academic life at the University.


You will have or be working towards a postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, have previous research experience in a health care or academic setting and a good understanding of qualitative / quantitative research methods. Skills in both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis techniques are desirable.

Salary

£27,466 - £33,780 p.a.
