Postdoctoral fellow term position in Supercritical Fluid Technology and Hydrolysis Processing targeting on high-value added products  

The Department of Agricultural, Food and Nutritional Science at the University of Alberta invite applications for a postdoctoral fellow term position in Supercritical Fluid Technology and Hydrolysis Processing targeting on high-value added products.

The postdoctoral fellow will be working independently or collaboratively on research projects on characterization of oils, reaction components and reaction processes under supercritical conditions. Applicants should have a PhD degree in Food Science, Chemistry or chemical Engineering with research experience and knowledge in fats/oils, reactions, and analytical techniques. Applicants should have good verbal and written communication skills, and should be prepared for independent research activities, writing papers and scientific reports. This position is available immediately. Salary will be commensurate with experience and performance.
