The University of Manchester is hosting the first Syngenta University Innovation Centre (UIC). This UIC delivers applied research in sensing, remote detection and informatics to create novel systems to benefit agriscience and food supply. An additional scientist or engineer is now needed to provide both direct practical research capabilities and postgraduate student supervision skills to meet these aims.

This post will be available from August 2008 for a period of 24 months.

Salary

£22,332 - £31,840 p.a.
