PhD scholarship: Eco-hydrology (Modelling surface water – ground water interactions and ecological impacts)
Applications are invited for a PhD scholarship in the area of eco-hydrological modeling, in particular modeling of integrated surface water- ground water systems at the catchment scale and the ecological impacts of contamination in such systems.
The PhD position will be co-funded by the Danish Council for Strategic Research, DHI Water Environment Health in Denmark and the Technical University of Denmark through the research project RISKPOINT.
The position is for a fixed duration of three years. The scholarship is fully funded.
The scholarship for the PhD degree is subject to academic approval, and the candidate will be enrolled in one of the general degree programmes of DTU. Information about the general requirements for enrolment and the general planning of the scholarship studies is included in the general rules of DTU, which may be obtained by application to the PhD programme office at tel: +45 45 25 11 76 or +45 45 25 11 77.
The salary and appointment terms are consistent with the current rules for PhD degree students.
We are offering an exciting position in international and innovative environment where the successful candidate will be working closely with the academic staff at DTU and with ecological and hydrological modelling staff at DHI.
