PhD Studentships in Behavioural Neurosciences, University of Nottingham
UK. Applications are invited for a PhD Research Studentship within a project investigating the brain mechanisms underlying the regulation of operant behaviour by positive reinforcement in rodents, using operant conditioning coupled with neuropharmacological techniques. Students should have, or expect to obtain, at least a 2(i) degree (or equivalent) in psychology or neuroscience.
The successful student will register for a PhD degree under joint supervision from the Psychopharmacology Section, Division of Psychiatry, School of Community Health Sciences, and the School of Psychology.
Funding is provided under the MRC Doctoral Training Account scheme to cover University UK/EU tuition fees and a tax-free stipend paid at Research Council rates.
