Ph.D. Student position in emission control catalysis

This EU-project will be performed at Applied Surface Chemistry / Competence Centre for Catalysis at Chalmers. The objective is to study new catalysts for emission control for natural gas fuelled vehicles. More specifically, the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides with methane will be studied. The project contains both experiments and modelling.

A suitable background is Master of Science (Swedish: civilingenjör) in Chemical engineering or Chemical Engineering with Physics, specifically with interest in catalysis. The position is placed at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. The period of service as a Ph. D. student is maximum four years plus maximum one year undergraduate teaching divided throughout the whole period of service.
