University of Glamorgan MPhil/PhD in Police Knowledge Management Systems
Centre for Police Sciences
The Centre for Police Sciences at the University of Glamorgan is seeking candidates with a BSc (Hons) 2:1 or an MSc in the areas of Police Sciences or police studies to undertake an MPhil/PhD in Police Knowledge Management Systems.
The research project will investigate the use of knowledge management systems underpinning police use of tasking and demand management systems, and will concentrate on new systems currently being introduced into a regional police force.
Applications are invited for any topics relating to the above research area. Applicants should provide evidence of experience or interest in examining knowledge management systems and identify some of the challenges of researching the police organisation. The successful candidate will be working in collaboration with a local police service.
