Bonamy Dobrée PhD Scholarships in English Studies, University of Leeds
UK. The School of English is offering two full-fee awards to international research postgraduate students commencing their studies in October this year. The bursary will pay the full cost of tuition fees at the international rate and £500 maintenance per annum (renewable annually up to a maximum of 3 years on condition of satisfactory progress).
The award-holder will be registered as a provisional PhD candidate, and would be expected to up-grade to full PhD status within twelve months of registration. Applicants for these awards are also expected to make an application to the ORSAS competition through the University of Leeds.
Minimum Academic Requirements
Good UK Upper Second Class Honours or First Class Honours Degree and preferably a distinction at Master’s Degree level, or equivalents, in appropriate subjects. Candidates must also meet the University’s English language requirements.
